Is there a disease called “aging”? I don’t think so, yet so many of the men and women I see, seem to think so! They expect “to fall apart”, to have aches and pain, to have high blood pressure, and even diabetes.
I especially have a hard time when someone half my age, blames whatever is bothering her body on the fact that she is “getting older”.
“Getting older” is NOT synonymous with “poor health”!
There are lots of measures you can take to get healthy and maintain your health as you get older. One of them has to do with eating “power foods” that are high in antioxidants. Some examples are cranberries and blueberries.
The next time you hear someone blame their poor health on “getting older”, let’s gently educate them on the finer aspects of aging. They just don’t know better.
