The Aging Process

Is their a disease called “aging”? I don’t think so, yet so many of the men and women I see, seem to think so!  They expect “to fall apart”, to have aches and pain, to have high blood pressure, and even diabetes.

I especially have a hard time when someone half my age, blames whatever is bothering her body on the fact that she is “getting older”.

“Getting older” is NOT synonymous with “poor health”!

There are lots of measures you can take to get healthy and maintain your health as you get older. One of them has to do with eating “power foods” that are high in antioxidants.  Some examples are cranberries and blueberries.  I cover more of this in our upcoming book which you’ll find at www.AgeWithSucess.com

The next time you hear someone blame their poor health on “getting older”, let’s gently educate them on the finer aspects of aging. They just don’t know better.

Precisely! I heard it said recently, and I can’t recall where, that adding years to our lives is certainly a worthy goal, but adding life to our years is much more important. Just my opinion, but there are lots of folks who go through their entire life playing the role of a victim. If that’s been your mindset, why stop now when you’re growing older. Now you can blame all your problems and shortcomings on growing old. That won’t draw my sympathy. I’m 70 year old guy, and I hope you don’t mind my showing up here.
