Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

by Barbara Phillips, NP on April 21, 2006

I see women all the time with fatigue. I see many who have been labeled with all sorts of names because of their ongoing complaints of fatigue, of pain, of an inability to live life like the rest of us. Like fibromyalgia, the “objective” data that clinicians like to see just has not been there…leaving these women and their providers wondering just what was going on and how do you deal with it.

While we are getting closer to the truth, that these are real conditions that we must learn how to manage and treat, we now have “scientific proof” if you will, that genetically there is indeed something going on.
